The all-new 2007 Ford Edge goes into overdrive this week with an urban marketing campaign featuring Grammy nominated singer Kelis. Consumers will hear the hip hop artist “Push it to the Edge” with a new song about Ford’s bold crossover vehicle in ads that begin airing Dec. 20.

“With a bold style that breaks the rules, Kelis is the perfect spokesperson for the Edge urban marketing campaign,” said Jeri Ward, Ford Edge marketing manager. “Our target buyer can easily relate to Kelis’ sharp and sophisticated style.”

Yikes! Lil Wayne and Lil Bow Wow are going after Jay-Z in upcoming issues of magazines. It's getting crazy in the Hip Hop Daycare that Jay Z thought he was running. The children are rising up! But Ozone editor Julia Beverly is saying this interview never happened. Oh, and who ever made up this mess about Ciara is dead wrong for even going there about a "bladder problem." Bow Wow's FAKE interview went like this:

The self-proclaimed "best rapper alive since the best rapper retired" apparently has revised his position. During an interview with Complex, Weezy revealed that he now feels he's second to none on the mic.

"I don't like what he's [Jay-Z] saying about how he had to come back because hip-hop's dead and we need him," Weezy told Complex. "What the fuck do you mean? I guess the new hot ticket in the book publishing world is tell-all books. First there was Karrine Steffans, and then Carmen Bryant. Well, rumor has it that Kimora and Russell Simmons may be outted in a new tell-all book too! And this story is just too juicy! A new book, entitled The Gay Superhead, is set to expose the secret homosexual lifestyles of a number of hip hop superstars. The tell-all book will chronicle the life of Caushun (pronounced caution), a gay rapper that gained national notoriety after appearing on Wendy Williams' radio show. Caushun, who was signed to Kimora Lee Simmons' Baby Phat Records, was reportedly privy to some of Kimora's deepest secrets.

MediaTakeOut.com spoke with a person close to Caushun who claims that the book will talk about Kimora's "extremely close" relationship with a lesbian woman named Kisha. Kimora reportedly purchased a Manhattan apartment where she allowed Caushun and Kisha to live in - rent free. The book also will talk about Russell and his relationship with a male executive at Phat Farm.

DREAMGIRL: AND IT'S NOT BEYONCE

I've already said that Jennifer Hudson makes Beyonce look quite mediocre in the movie Dreamgirls, and I got attacked on this blog by livid Beyonce fans calling me a hater and such. But now other folks are agreeing with me, including New York Post writer MANDY STADTMILLER and OPRAH.

Suge Knight Calls Snoop a Rat

Oh Lawd! The West Coast is back at it again. According to Page 6 Ummm...isn't that what the Game was saying about 50 Cent? I wonder if Suge will take it as far as Game and start rocking the Chuck E. Cheese mouse/rat suit LOL.

SUGE Knight, the founder of Death Row Records, has an explanation for how his archenemy Snoop Dogg keeps avoiding jail, despite his numerous arrests for drugs and gun possession. "Snoop is a rat. He's a police informer. This is the only guy who never goes to jail no matter what. I don't like rats," Knight told Page Six exclusively yesterday.

Smith explained that he quit his marriage to first wife, Sheree Smith, when he "could have fixed it" — and he said he won't make that mistake again with Jada Pinkett Smith.
