Kimora's Rep Confirms Break Up to People Magazine

Rap mogul Russell Simmons and his wife Kimora Lee Simmons are splitting, a rep for Kimora confirms to PEOPLE.

Russell issued his own statement Friday afternoon, saying: "Kimora and I will remain committed parents and caring friends with great love and admiration for each other. We will also continue to work side by side on a daily basis as partners in all of our businesses."

Russell, 48, and Kimora, 30, married in 1998 and have two daughters: Ming Lee Simmons, 6, and Aoki Lee Simmons, 3. Both girls model for Baby Phat Clothing, Kimora's offshoot of her husband's Phat Farm clothing line.

T-Boz has a new Boy Toy!

T-Boz and her boyfriend Buffalo Bills linebacker Takeo Spikes have been seen at many celebrity events lately. The couple was also spotted at the March 28th movie premiere of "ATL" which stars rapper T.I. The movie is loosely based on the youth of ATL natives T-Boz and Dallas Austin. All we want to know in the Hood is what happened to R U the girl winner "Oh So Crispy"....



Let's get to know Takeo. A quick look at his website reveals that he is 6-2, weighs 242 pounds, attended Auburn University and was born December 17, 1976. The site also tells us that:

Reps aren't commenting, but insiders are saying the end is near. Rumors have been circulating for a while that this was a marriage of convenience and some have even gone as far as to say Russell is on the down low. Only time will tell...

March 29, 2006 -- BUSTA Rhymes went ballistic on a young gay fan who dared to tap the rapper on the shoulder after a night of clubbing in Miami. Rhymes, who was in South Beach for the Winter Music Conference, has been on edge ever since one of his security guards, Israel Ramirez, was shot dead last month in Brooklyn while guarding Rhymes' jewelry. But it seems nothing makes the rapper's temper flare faster than the unwanted touch of an effeminate man. The drama unfolded at the 11th Street Diner, which is next door to gay club Twist, early Sunday morning. "The restaurant was packed with transvestites, gay men and drag queens, which obviously made Busta a little edgy," eyewitness Thomas Barker e-mails. "This became evident when a young gay guy came up behind Busta and tapped him on the shoulder to congratulate the rapper on his recent comeback. Before the guy could even mutter a word, Busta turned around and repeatedly screamed, 'Why the [bleep] you touchin' me, man? Get the [bleep] away from me' . . . his two huge bodyguards then caused an even larger scene by pushing the kid away . . . Busta quietly whispered to his bodyguards, 'I hate [bleeping] faggots, man.' " A spokeswoman for Rhymes did not return calls.

2006 CIAA Tournament Recap: Thank You Charlotte!

We are still recovering from our crazy weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina (For those of you who don't know, Miss PR is a proud graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, an HBCU in Charlotte). If you missed this year's tournament, make sure you mark your calendars for next year. The Hollyhood crew stocked up on Vivarin and didn't sleep the entire weekend. By now, most people have heard rapper Camron's diss song about Def Jam President Jay-Z. According to HipHopGame.com Cam is back at it. Check out these photos from the video shoot.Cam'ron is going at Jay-Z again in his next video for Lick It Or Not/Wet Wipes, using comedian Jimmie "J.J." Walker as a Jay-Z lookalike. In the video, J.J. Walker is dressed in a gold Roc-A-Fella chain, buttoned shirt and blue New York Yankees hat. According to MTV, he's even seen stepping out of a Maybach wearing sandals and jeans, a reference to Cam'ron's previous diss lines. Cam'ron is also seen taking J.J.
