Supaman Dat Hoe-Explanation

Do y'all really know what "Superman Dat Ho" means? I know I didn't and
the answer is some of the most shocking and funniest sh*t I've heard
since I first learned what a "Dirty Sanchez" is or when my boy told me
about "Riding The Bull".

So here's the deal. Most dudes (myself included) has been in the
situation when you've been trying all night to sleep with a certain
young lady. Y'all have been messing around for hours and you've tried
everything from "I'll still respect you in the morning" to "Just let me
put the head in" but she keeps shutting you down hard like a faulty car
trunk.

- Well, according to our songwriter/rapper Soldija Boy, now's the time
to give up and "Superman Dat Ho"!!!
I'll try to keep this as clean as possible for those of you who read
this at work . So basically, you let her fall asleep and you commence
to....
.......... "take things into your own hands", you know, make it a party
for one! Hopefully you catch my drift by now. You then "release" on her
back while she's sleeping.

- Next, you take the sheets and cover her up with your little soldiers
still on her back. What happens next is actually the funny part!
Throughout the night, your liquid love will dry and wind up sticking the
sheet to that lovely lady's back. When she awakens the next morning,
she'll stand up with a sheet stuck to her back like a cape!

It was supposed to be Alicia Keys' 27th birthday party, but Kimora Lee Simmons took center stage when she got into a bizarre screaming fight with another woman Wednesday night.

The intimate fete at Bed started out mellow enough, with Keys hanging out with her boyfriend, Kerry (Krucial) Brothers, and pals like Clive Davis, Missy Elliott and Common. But minutes after everyone had sung "Happy Birthday," a shrill voice shattered the vibe.

"Get out of my face, b-!" shrieked Kimora, according to a witness.
Guests wheeled around to find the designing wife of rap mogul Russell Simmons yelling at a woman in jeans and a tan vest. "Kimora said that the woman had thrown a drink at her," says one attendee. "She didn't look wet to me. But security grabbed the girl and ushered her out."

Asked by another guest what the fight was about, the woman said, "She's jealous of me!"
The woman couldn't be reached yesterday. Kimora's rep described her as "a disrespectful fan" who "accosted" Simmons. One source added, "Kimora doesn't even know this person, but [the woman] constantly shows up at events where Kimora is expected. Frankly, it's a little scary. Kimora is looking into getting a restraining order."

Unfortunately, here in my wonderful city, our "hip hop & R&B" station WKKV V100, owned by Clear Channel, has decided to dump the hugely popular Doug Banks Morning Show for the Steve Harvey Morning Show. To put it mildly: People are PISSED! I've only listened to Steve's show a couple of times and it just wasn't funny-at all. It seems like it wants to be the Tom Joyner Morning Show (which already airs here on another station). Well, of course there is an online petition to bring the Doug Banks Morning Show back. Take a look at the petition HERE which already has 1639 signatures. Despite the petition, I have a feeling we'll be stuck with Steve for a couple years. **sigh**

Well, rumor has it that Kimora and Russell Simmons may be outted in a new tell-all book too! And this story is just too juicy! The great folks at Paramount Pictures invited Hollyhoodbuzz to a PRIVATE invitation only screening of "Dreamgirls" starring Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Hudson, Anika Noni Rose, Jamie Foxx, and Eddie Murphy.

I left feeling very disappointed. Thank God for Eddie Murphy's comic relief and Jennifer Hudson's beautiful voice. Long story short, this script would have made a great After School Special or even a good made-for-tv movie. If anyone thinks they are getting an Oscar for this movie, they are sadly mistaken. Beyonce should NEVER share a stage with Jennifer Hudson, EVER! Jennifer's voice is amazing, making Beyonce's best performance look quite mediocre.

Hindsight is 20/20, now I realize I should have stayed my butt at home to watch the BET Hip Hop awards!

Sources confirmed to The BV Newswire that Gerald Levert is dead.

Immediate details on the death of R&B crooner were not known at press time.

He turned 40 years old in July.

One of several from the musical Levert family --his father, Eddie Levert, is the lead singer of the legendary soul group The O'Jays -- he was a founding member and the lead singer of the 1990's R&B trio LeVert, who scored big hits with "Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop (Goes My Mind)", "Casanova", and "ABC-123."

Levert, born in Cleveland, Ohio, was also apart of R&B supergroup LSG, comprised of platinum selling R&B crooners Keith Sweat and Johnny Gill.

As a solo artist, Levert garnered a cult following with a string of R&B ballads ("I'd Give Anything (to Fall in Love)", "You Got That Love") from his numerous album projects on East West/Elektra Records.

Looks like there could be a little Flav in the oven! Nah...She's just bloated. Deelishis was spotted at a Detroit Club recently and she's missing her man because she hasn't seen Flav in four months. Check out her interview with BET.com for the scoop.

Deelishis: IÂm feeling great. I am involved with the greatest guy and his name is William Drayden! WeÂve been separated for four months. Contractually, we could not be seen in public together and that was hard. But I wrote a lot of letters, sent him pictures, and we talked on the phone. He was on his tour with Public Enemy and I did promos with KingÂ, so we had other things going on in our lives to keep us occupied. But now itÂs finally over. Today is the beginning of our courtship without 19 other women in the picture.

BET.com: Your feelings for Flav sound so genuine, yet many viewers canÂt picture you, or anybody for that matter, having real feelings for him.

Deelishis: My feelings are genuine, and I really donÂt care to explain it. People will hopefully see a wonderful outcome and eventually come to see it for themselves. ItÂs real.

BET.com: How did you feel when you heard Flav tell New York he loved her?

Deelishis: We recognized he loved her when he wanted her back on the show. HeÂs a person who is easy to love, so itÂs easy for him to love. When I heard him say that, I was confused. I thought it was the end, but they had history and that love may have been a respect thing.

Deelishis: No, she was a tad bit extra for me. I never witnessed a true moment for her until that moment. You would never see New York pull her weave behind her ear. That was the only time she was real. She was humiliated.

Deelishis: During the Belize trip, yeah, I was upset because I thought my connection with him was crazy. But prior to that point, it was whatever. I wasnÂt sleeping with him, so maybe he just wanted to get his rocks off.

Why is everyone hating on Michael Knight so hard?

I've checked out a few of my favorite blogs and PR fans are leaving crazy comments about how "disappointing" and "hideous" Michael's collection was.

I'm sorry, but I beg to differ. Do I think his collection was the best? No, it wasn't a winning collection, but I thought it was decent.

I was proud of him for making it to the final four and I would have paid my hard-earned money for several of those pieces. And it sounds like his girl, singer Brandy is a BIG fan!

Next, Jeffrey Sebelia should not have won. His collection is made specifically for anorexic, bulimic, superficial chicks in LA, which means most people in America wouldn't wear his designs to their own funerals.

HollyhoodBuzz India.Arie Concert Update

As many of you know, I attended the India.Arie concert last Friday. Yes, I'm a huge India fan and love her music and her new album. So, as you can imagine, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to meet her during a VIP reception immediately before the concert. According to her "people" she wasn't "feeling well" and it showed. I was surprised that she was so tiny. But apparently she's still taller than me (with my heals on!) Well, India didn't talk much, but maybe she was saving her voice for the concert?! But then again, she didn't smile either.

Maybe she should listen to her own lyrics from her song There's Hope where she clearly states:
"There's hope
It doesn't cost a thing to smile
You don't have to pay to laugh
You better thank God for that"

After meeting her, I think it's safe to say she is an introvert. The concert was great and she really "turned it on" on stage and her voice is truly amazing. Just don't expect her to be as excited to meet you as you are to met her.

XM Radio ran a "gold tooth" ad on "60 Minutes" Sunday night—the latest in a string of multicultural missteps that have cost national corporations millions of dollars. Watch the video below:

The ad, which features a "gold-toothed" man and background music from black rapper Snoop Dogg at the very end, is dangerously reminiscent of the one that got Toyota in serious trouble not so long ago.

In 2001, Toyota Motor Co. faced harsh criticism for airing an ad featuring a black man with a gold tooth. At the time, the Rev. Jesse Jackson and his RAINBOW/Push Coalition publicly denounced the ad, claiming it was offensive to blacks, and threatened a national boycott on Toyota products. By 2002, the automaker formed a seven-member diversity advisory board to hold Toyota accountable for its diversity commitment.

It remains to be seen whether or not Jackson will take a position on XM's new ad campaign.

The recent ad is part of XM Radio's new multimedia marketing campaign, according to Orbitcast. The campaign, designed by XM's new ad agency, Lowe New York, uses the waves of the XM logo and music from Johnny Cash, The Circle Jerks, Beethoven, Snoop Dogg and other artists. The intent is to draw attention to XM's music offerings.

Flavor of Love's New York Gets Her Own Show

October 16, 2006 -- RAPPER Flavor Flav may have dumped his sassy, out spoken date, New York, on last night's season finale of "Flavor of Love 2," but she'll be back soon - with her own VH1 show, "Flavorette."

New York, whose real name is Tiffany Patterson, 24, is in the final weeks of filming the over-the-top "Bachelorette"-style show in which 20 single guys try to win her heart.

"These guys are so dramatic," says Patterson. "They're worse than the women who were on season one and season two [of "Flavor of Love"]. This show is so chaotic, it's overboard, it's over-the-top, it's extreme and these guys know they're fighting for a wonderful woman so they've been at each other's throats and I'm flattered by it. I can't complain."

VH1 has not yet decided on an air date for the new show.

"I like it when the guys go at each other," she says. "I'm a prize, I'm so worth it - frankly, it turns me on."

She says the show is far along already and right now only three guys remain, and she's falling in love with one of them.

"There's one man in particular that I can definitely see myself living out the rest of my life with," she says.

As if to prove he's doing fine, Owens went from the hospital to catching passes from quarterback Drew Bledsoe within two hours, then proclaimed himself "very capable of going out there and playing on Sunday" Â despite whatever happened Tuesday night and a broken right hand.

Owens said Wednesday the confusion likely stemmed from an empty bottle of pain medication found by his publicist, who was with him at the time and called 911. He said the rest of the pills were in a drawer.

"I was non-responsive when she made that call," Owens said. "She made the call out of her judgment for my well-being."

Appearing in a news conference at team headquarters a few hours after leaving a hospital for what a police report described as "a drug overdose," Owens wore workout gear and no bandage on his right hand. The star receiver smiled and seemed more amused than peeved at the latest ruckus surrounding him.

Owens, 32, blamed a combination of hydrocodone, a generic form of Vicodin, with all-natural supplements for making him ill.

"It's very unfortunate for it to go from an allergic reaction to a suicide attempt," he said.

Rescue workers arrived at Owens' home around 8 p.m. Tuesday and took him to an emergency room. When word spread, publicist Kim Etheredge said it was an allergic reaction.
